A quick, snacky breakfast is had before we head to the cathedral for mass. It is a beautiful building, a glorious dedication to the worship of God, and seeing it does my heart good. Mass is as problematic for me as it was last week, but the cathedral and the company help a good deal. Afterward, we head to the Italian place Jon always raves about for lunch ... and it is as delicious as he says. And then, until it is time for me to go, we look at a few more houses, finding two that may do Jon (and I) very well. He says he'll look again over the week, and see if either of them calls to him ... but at least they are a start.
And then it's dinner and the train station, and long goodbyes for another week. And I board my train, heading south toward Atuscan's home ... and a meeting with the big red man himself.

GM: The train ride is uneventful. When you reach Marion, there is a rental car arranged for pickup by Andrew Tuscan again, following the exact arrangement as last time, so there is some confidence that this is not a trap. The sun is fully gone about halfway through your drive, and you pull up on Atuscan\'s humble home in the dark. Your headlights sweep across four men, each armed with an assault weapon. They regard you coolly, not pointing their guns your way, holding their positions. Tawaret confirms the undercurrent of fear you suspected from their presence and attitudes... flickers of professional worry, if you will. She\'s not sure if you\'re on their \'worry list\' or not.

(Chun Li) She follows along fairly smoothly, though a beat behind, trying to learn and feel the movements instead of just echoing or aping your motion.
Eddie: In the end, as the candles burn down and the water takes them into darkness, as the air changes from smoke and scent to Detroit autumn, I am calm and I am myself and I am whole.

Eddie: In the morning, Tawaret and I are off early to grab the train. The sun is out, the birds are singing, and it\'s a brand new world. Let\'s see what Chicago is all about, dearheart. Let\'s see why Jon loves it so.

GM: Secure Sleeper proves to be just that; isolated and quiet. There is a small terminal inside with a pretty display of the current position of the sun and moon, an assortment of very high quality digital music, and news channels in a half dozen languages. The porter is quick to answer any call. Refreshments are extra, but no worse than bar or high-class restaurant prices.

Eddie: I stick to having another coffee, as I had breakfast before I left, and I\'m sure Jon and I will grab lunch soonish after I get there.
